Antoni Clave (Barcelona 1913 – Saint Tropez 2005) will become the center of attention during the 56th Venice Biennale. La Galleria d’Arte Maggiore (Bolonya) organizes a major retrospective of this artist in the magnificent spaces Scoletta di Battioro, on the Grand Canal.
The exhibition will be headed by a huge bronze sculpture “Guerrier et bouclier” and will include oils-tribute to El Greco, works in mixed media made in the 70’s with the use of collage and reliefs of aluminum foils, plus the great paintings of the 90’s.
